Summertime sadness 

I just wanted you to know

Nothing scares me anymore....

On a hazy summer day in August, Shannon, David, Elise and I created some sadness.......

David, a very talented young make up artist and friend of mine, wanted to collaborate on a creative shoot. Inspired by the style of Lana Del Rey....deeply emotive, sad, vintage and dark.
A theme very much up my alley!

Shannon was our Lana, and turns out, she actually has a very striking resemblance to Miss Del Rey.

We shot in the late afternoon, early evening and had a blast...tons of jewelry, a lil white wine and impromptu on the go change room later...we had our summertime sadness.

The three of them were an absolutely fantastic group to work with and I couldn't have enjoyed a shoot more....made me wish I could do it over again everyday!
